OUR PHILOSOPHY
The Legal Aid Society of Westchester County provides free legal representation to persons without adequate means charged with committing a felony within Westchester County, New York. The Society is founded upon the belief that equal access to the effective representation by counsel is vital to upholding justice and assuring equal administration and protection under the law. Our staff is comprised of a leading team of experienced defense attorneys, social workers, investigators and professional support individuals who have all shown a commitment and dedication to the practice of indigent criminal defense.
